Description-

The Edwardian period took a step away from the overly tight hourglass corsets of the Victorian era and changed to a S-curve or S-Bend shape, tilting the torso forward and pushing the hips back.

The Mae enhances the s-curve shape of this period. It has a lower bust line, encourages the torso to tip forward, and has ¼” spiral bones on the curved seams. The Mae exhibits the art nouveau style with its graceful curves. The neckline in the front is set very low, about 1/2" above the bust line.
